The ideal facial width height ratio is 1.33 to 1.38 for men, which cant be changed with hair obviously but you can change how your face is perceived.

If you have a shorter skull, you ideally want to add more volume to the top of your skull to improve its perception

As you can see, barrett has a shorter face and really loses appeal with having grown out sides compared to when his hair is tight around the sides of his skull

He would benefit even further from adding more volume on top but his hair is straight and sits very flat on top of his skull.

Tall Skull/Horseface

If you are someone who has a long midface ratio like Jestro-Ren, you have to add volume to the sides of your skull. He is already doing the proper hairstyle for his TFWHR.

Here is driver with his hair shortened on the sides to show you exactly what I mean. Nothing changed besides his hair in the morph but his skull looks way longer and unideal.
