Undertones for ethnics

The difference to caucasians that lack undertones and darker skin is that ethnics usually should try to modulate their undertones to their specific case instead.

This guide will discuss how to do that with OTC compounds.

Lycopene and astaxanthin

What Are They?

Lycopene and Astaxanthin are both fat-soluble carotenoids found naturally in red and orange fruits, veggies, etc.

For our purposes they can be used to add red undertones compared to the orange-ish look beta-carotene gives.

Apart from that they both are strong antioxidants and great generally for your health without a big side effect profile, if any at all.

This is lycopene in its pure form.

And this is astaxanthin.

MOA

Your body stores both compounds in your dermis / skin, thus resulting in a more reddish apperance.

Lycopene

Dose: 10–30 mg/day

Astaxanthin

Dose: 4–12 mg/day

TL;DR: Use both of these combinations to add beautiful undertones to your skin. 15-30mg of lycopene and 10mg of astaxanthin minimum.
