Laser hair removal

We want to make your abs pop and create the illusion of a leaner and more defined midsection. One often-overlooked tricks for doing this is going to be laser hair removal for the stomach/midsection region.

Examples

Diet, exercise and resistance training are going to be the main components in achieving visible abs, however, body hair can obscure muscle definition, making even a toned stomach look softer. By removing hair, you enhance shadows and contours, giving the appearance of lower body fat and more pronounced abs—something many women find attractive.

This is obviously an extreme example, but you get the picture:

How Laser Hair Removal Works

Laser hair removal uses concentrated light beams to target and destroy hair follicles. This prevents future growth. It’s a more long-term solution compared to just traditional shaving or waxing, which will have to be done regularly.

Types of Laser Procedures

I will quickly go into which laser treatments, and what types of lasers will be ideal to use in each scenario.

  1. Alexandrite Laser. This is going to be best for lighter skin tones.
  2. Diode Laser. Works well on a range of skin tones, precise and long-lasting.
  3. Nd:YAG Laser. This is going to be safe if you have darker skin, since some treatments will not work if you have dark skin.
  4. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). IPL is not a true laser but can reduce hair growth and can also be done at home so it is very easy to do maintenance yourself.

Benefits of doing laser hair removal

Having a hair free stomach is going to enhance the visibility of abs. No hair means that light will be better reflection and shadow definition will be improved.

No hair is going to create a smoother appearance. And if you go through with the laser hair removal, it eliminates stubble and ingrown hairs that shaving or waxing give.

Laser hair removal is low maintenance since after completing a few sessions, hair will grow very minimally and upkeep will be minimal.
