The browridge is the bony ridge above the orbits and is part of the frontal bone of the skull.


Differences to the supraorbitals

Don't confuse it for the supraorbitals. That term usually just refers to the small area above the orbits, not the whole browridge.

Both are part of the frontal bone though.


The ideal browridge

The ideal browridge is decently projected and remains in the straight positioning of the frontal bone.

David Gandy is the perfect example for that.

Dimorphism

A straight frontal bone and projected browridge are both dimorphic masculine traits.


Meanwhile a females frontal bone and browridge are sloped.
